Abstract

PURPOSE:To effect heating of a room throughout day and night by a method wherein air in a collector is heated by solar heat and the heat of this air is accumulated in a heat accumulating tank provided under the floor or in the wall of the room while the accumulated heat thereof is enabled to be emitted at night or during a rainy time. CONSTITUTION:When the sun is shining in a day time, an air collector A, provided on a roof, receives the solar heat to warm the air therein and the air is sent into an underfloor heat accumulating tank B by an air circulating fan C to warm the inside of the tank B and accumulate the heat in a heat accumulating medium therein. When the temperature of atmosphere is descended at night or in a rainy time, a valve D2 is shut to intercept the communication between the tank B and the air collector A cooled by the atmosphere. Then, the inside of the heat accumulating tank B is maintained at about 27 deg.C at all times by the hydrating reaction of a hydrated compound such as CuCl2.6H2O or the like, for example, in a heat accumulating medium sealing cylinder and thereby discharging the accumulated heat into the room to heat it. The warm air in the heat accumulating tank B also warms a carpet or a mat in the room through a metal lid 2. On the other hand, the solar heat is absorbed and accumulated in the heat accumulating tank in a wall also and the emission of the heat is effected at night or during the rainy days.
