Abstract
PURPOSE:To make the conversion of an optional sample number possible, by selecting and integrating one of numeric values M and -N and selecting one of them in accordance with the result and taking out required samples from a sequence consisting of M-number of samples to generate a sequence consisting of N-number of samples when the sequence consisting of M-number of samples is converted to a sequence consisting of N-number of samples. CONSTITUTION:Binary numbers M and -N are applied to a selecting circuit 32, and an output B of the selecting circuit 32 and an output A of a register 34 to which the output of an adding circuit 33 is inputted are applied to the adding circuit 33. A signal SG of the most significant digit of the register 34 is applied to the selecting circuit 32 to select the value -N for SG=0 and select the value M for SG=1. The signal SG is applied to a sequence control circuit 35 to generate a strobe pulse ST, a signal SF which requests the next sample in a sequence consisting of M-number of samples, and a resampling request signal SM for generating a sequence S0 consisting of N-number of samples from this sample. An example for M=7 and N=4 is shown in table.
