Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the entering of spatter or the like into a closed casing of a compressor caused by welding by facilitating the insertion of pipes constructed in one body with the main body of the compressor into the closed casing of the compressor and avoiding to give gaps between the above-said pipes and the closed casing after the insertion. CONSTITUTION:A compressor unit 1 constructed of an electric motor 2, a compressor machine part 2', and a suction pipe 3 and a discharge pipe 4 connected to the compressor machine part 2' in one body is suspended by springs 6 inside a lower casing 5, a part of a closed casing. Before fitting an upper casing 7, the casing 7 is set as illustrated by dotted lines, and the above-said pipes 3 and 4 are inserted into their pipe holes 8 and 9 previously. Then, the upper casing 7 is fitted to the lower casing 5, and both pipes 3 and 4 are welded to both pipe holes 8 and 9 for constructing a closed casing. This construction permits to avoid gaps between pipes 3 and 4 and the closed casing, and prevent the entering of spatter or the like caused by welding.
