Abstract

PURPOSE:To make copying of paper which is blank on the rear side at proper times possible even under the selection of a both side copying mode by releasing the rear side copying mode temporarily during the rear side copying mode of the both side copying mode. CONSTITUTION:When the operator preses a both side mode assignment key 5 upon attainment of the standby state for a rear side copying mode after the end of a front side copying mode, the rear side copying mode is released and a rear side blank copying mode is set. Next, when the operator presses a print start key 4, the copying paper completed of the front side copying is removed with its rear side left blank. When a stop key 8 and the key 5 are pressed during execution of the rear side copying, the rear side copying mode is released and the rear side blank copying mode is set. The changing-over of these modes is controlled by the microcomputer of a control part 1. In this way, the copy which is blank on the rear side is obtained even under the selection of the both side copying mode.
