Abstract
PURPOSE:To simplify the titled equipment and to reduce the electric power consumption, by commonly using one buffer memory for two kinds of time code signals, SMPTE time code signal and VITC time code signal, under a time divided condition. CONSTITUTION:A frame pule is detected from synchronizing signals at a frame pulse detecting circuit 2 and the pulse is supplied to an operator 3, and then, data regarding time codes are outputted from the operator 3. These data are directly supplied to an encoder 5 for the VITC time code signal through a buffer memory 4. On the other hand, the data are also supplied to an encoder 7 for the SMPTE time code signal through the memory 4 and a latch 6, and a timing signal is decided by adding the timing of data transmission of the operator 3 to a timing circuit 8. Then, the address of a address switch 12 is designated by a horizontal synchronizing pulse from a synchronizing pulse detecting circuit 13, and the memory 4 is commonly used under a time divided condition, and thus, the configuration of the equipment is simplified.
