Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain the apparatus free from powder loss and not contaminating the periphery of a blowing part by a method wherein cylinders are placed at both ends of a surface to be blown with a powder and rotated so as to be opposed to a blowing stream or the powder adhered to the cylinders is scraped off toward the blowing stream.
CONSTITUTION: Most of a powder 3 is adhered to the blowing surface 9 of a material 5 to be blown to which the powder 3 is blown but the part thereof is diffused outwardly from the blowing surface 9. In this case, a cylinder 1 is placed in close vicinity to both end edges of the rectangular blowing surface 9 of the material 5 to be blown so as to be parallel therewith and rotated so as to be opposed to a blowing stream 4. The powder in the periphery of the blowing stream is adhered to the cylinder 1 and scraped off by a scraper 2 to be again involved in the blowing stream and blown to the blowing surface 9. By this method, the adjacent periphery is not contaminated with the diffused powder and the powder can be used without loss.
