Abstract
PURPOSE: The titled pharmaceutical preparation having extremely improved absorption of drug through membrane, keeping a high concentration of drug in the blood for a long time, comprising a water-soluble substance having a concentration exhibiting higher osmotic pressure than that of sodium chloride injection, a base, a surface active agent, and a drug.
CONSTITUTION: A pharmaceutical preparation having improved absorption in the form of an agent such as suppository, ointment, cream, etc., comprising a water- soluble substance e.g., water-soluble salt of alkali metal such as sodium chloride, sulfate, water-soluble polyhydric alcohol (e.g., water-soluble saccharide such as glucose, etc.), base (e.g., oily base such as animal fats and oils, aqueous base such as polyethylene glycol, etc.), surface active agent (e.g., anionic surface active agent, catiohic surface active agent), a drug (e.g., water-soluble drug, penicillin type antibiotic such as ampicillin, etc.), and preferably an absorption promotor (a compound having bond ability at least with Ca++.
