Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the flowing of cross current, by giving a delay to a driving current applied to a switching element by the phase difference for the stored timed of the switching element between the waveform of a driving circuit and the waveform generated at an output transformer. CONSTITUTION:A DC power applied at input terminals INa and INb is converted into a rectangular wave at an oscillating circuit and the voltage is suitably transformed by a driving transistor (TR) DT. The transformed output is applied to bases of power TRs Q13 and Q14 through TRsQ1 and Q2. The TRsQ13 and Q14 repeat turning-on/off and produce an AC power at an output transformer OT. The TRsQ1 and Q2 are set so that they turn on during storage times ts1 and ts2 of the TRsQ13 and Q14, and the difference of phases for the storage time of the TRsQ13 and Q14 is picked up by a ternary winding N3 of the transformer OT and that of the transformer DT to turn of the TRsQ13 and Q14. Thus, the flowing of cross current can be prevented.
