CONSTITUTION:In a storage means 7, pieces of parallel tomographic picture information are stored at prescribed intervals. Then, a reading means 8 reads the stored tomographic pictures to a projection type CRT9 at prescribed intervals of time and in prescribed order, and respective read signals are supplied to a switching control means 10. A picture resproduction part 11 is constituted by arraying dynamic scattering effect type liquid-crystal plates 12 at prescribed intervals and in parallel, and in response to every read signal from the means 10, a voltage is applied to only the liquid crystal plate 12 at a prescribed position for a prescribed time to reproduce the tomographic picture from the CRT9.
