PURPOSE:To carry out the comparison and study for plural numbers of clothes on the same screen, by recording a static picture to a memory after picking up a human figure and displaying at a time plural composite pictures obtained by synthesizing plural clothing pictures and human pictures which are previously picked up. CONSTITUTION:A human figure 13 standing in front of a blue back paper 12 is picked up by a color TV camera 11, and the human figure signal is supplied to a memory circuit 14 consisting of a 1-frame memory. At the same time, plural static clothing images 16 with no head part and with hands and legs are packed previously into plural files 15. Then the head part of the figure 13 given from the circuit 14 is set with one of the images 16 packed into the file 15 through a synthesizing circuit 17. The synthetic signal is supplied to a region in a memory 18 and indicated by a control panel 19. Then the image 16 of another clothing is selected to be supplied to another region of the memory 18. Thus these plural composite pictures are set with a background and displayed at a time on a screen of a picture receiver 22.
