Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the weight of a high frequency filter by providing an internal conductor with a part which has a large diameter and a small coefficient of linear expansion, and fixing a dielectric to the part. CONSTITUTION:A large-diameter part 9 is made of alloy with a small coefficient of linear expansion. A dielectric 4 is provided between a small-diameter part 10 and an external conductor 2, and is fixed with an adhesive in contact with the part 9 only at the boundary between the parts 10 and 9. Therefore, the dielectric 4 and part 9 have a small difference in coefficient of linear expansion and are in close contact with relatively small area, so even the addition of a temperature cycle realizes small strain at the adhesion part, obtaining stable electric characteristics. Further, the part 9 is fitted to the external conductor 2 with a screw, which is turned to vary the length of the internal conductor 3 and the capacity of a capacitor.
