Abstract

PURPOSE:To raise the dissolved oxygen concentration of condensed water by providing an oxygen storage tank whose lower end is opened in a water condenser in a device in which oxygen is dissolved in the condensed water in order to prevent the corrosion of the inside of the condenser used in power generation plants, etc. CONSTITUTION:A hot well 12 to store condened water is formed in the lower part of a water cndenser cylinder 11, and an oxygen storage tank 15 is provided on the upper part of the hot well whose one end is provided with a partition plate 18. Oxygen supplied from an oxygen jet nozzle 20 goes up inside the hot well 12 and is stored in the oxygen storage tank 15, whereupon the pressure of the stored oxygen becomes one corresponding to a water head pressure resulting from the difference in water level between the condensed water in the storage tank 15 and the condesned water in the hot well. Thus, even when the inside of the water condenser is evacuated to 30-40mm.Hg, the dissolving rate of oxygen can be raised. Also, the pressure of storated oxygen can be regulated by latering the length of the partition plate 18.
