Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide an efficient cooling system by a method wherein air is contacted to a fibrous dehumidifying material to produce a dried air and at the same time the fibrous dehumidifying material to which the moisture content is suctioned is exposed to the solar energy and the like to recycle the material. CONSTITUTION:In a cooling system in which a cooling is performed by a cold air produced by a contact between the dried air and the water, air is contacted to the fibrous dehumidifying material 1 to produce a dried air, the dehumidifying material 11 having moisture suctioned therein is exposed to the solar energy or other heating source, the moisture is removed by the accumulated heat to reproduce the dehumidifying material 1. For example, said fibrous dehumidifying material 1 is of an active carbon fiber and/or active carbon fiber having deliquescent salt therein. One example of a honeycomb-shaped assembly is constructed such that the fibrous dehumidifying material sheet 1 corrugated, card board sheets 2 adhered to the air non-permeable sheet are piled up alternatively with being crossed at a right angle, the air A is passed through the space between the corrugated sheets, the cooling gas B is flowed into the spaces at such a plane as being upright to the sheet plane and then passed through the spaces.
