Abstract

PURPOSE: To achieve low cost for the constitution of a circuit, by controlling a reproducing element so that it is moved with a prescribed speed determined in advance depending on the length of duration period detected with a burst signal radially on a recording disc.
CONSTITUTION: A static capacitance formed between an electrode of a reproducing stylus 31 and a disc 29 is converted into a signal in high frequency with a pickup circuit and the signal is applied to a demodulation circuit 33, band pass filters 34 and 35, and an fp3 detector 36. An output detecting signal FP3 of the detector 36 is applied to an fp3 length detecting circuit 41, where a duration time (burst length) at one revolution period of a disc of the fp3 detecting signal FP3 to be reproduced is detected. A control circuit 42 consists of, e.g., a microcomputer and a prescribed feed control is made according to a detection signal from the said circuit 41. With the constitution like this, an economical circuit can be achieved.
