Abstract
PURPOSE:To perform highly reliable power source control by a small-sized controller by coupling the control system of a floating output circuit with the control system of a constant current output circuit through a Zener diode. CONSTITUTION:The primary winding 1a of a transformer 1 having secondary windings 1b and 1c is connected to a DC power source through a transisot TR2. The output of the winding 1b is rectified by a diode 3 to output a constant current through a smoothing circuit 4. Similarly, the output of the winding 1c is rectified by a diode 7, whose output is generated through a smoothing circuit 8 while floating on the constant current output according to a load. When the load current of a floating output circuit causes overloading or short-circuit, the detection signal of a current detecting resistance 20 is led to a current control circuit 16 through a Zener diode 24 to control the output, thereby preventing the continuation of an overload state or a runaway of a short-circuit current.
