Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable simultaneous tagging of a body, used for a breakwater pontoon, and body, used for a main strcuture, by a method wherein an internal flaoting casing and an external casing, surrounding the internal casing, are connected so that they are spaced at a specific distance and can perform a relative movement in a vertical direction. CONSTITUTION:A floating casing unit U is constituted such that an internal floating casing 1 and an external casing 2, surrounding the casing 1 and being positioned apart from the casing 1, are combined together. A connecting means 4 for the casings 1 and 2 consists of a horizontal member 4a, a tilting member 4b, and a vertical member 4c secured to the periphery of the casing 1. A guide G, extending vertically, of the casing 2 is located in a position corresponding to the forward end of the connecting means 4, and the guide G and the means 4 pivotably and vertically movably engage each other by means of a pin roller 5. The casings 1 and 2 are previously manufactured in a dock, and are tagged by a ship S to a construction site. The casings 1 and 2 move relatively due to waves, and this permits releasing of the casings from breakingly shock of waves.
