Abstract

PURPOSE:To track the movement of the sun in an accurate manner, by reciprocating a female screw in an axial direction through normal and reverse rotation of a male screw, and turning light receiving members and a frame for supporting the same via a guide lever and others through utilization of the reciprocating movement of the female screw. CONSTITUTION:A square-shaped frame 1 is supported on legs 6 in a rotatable manner by means of a shaft 8, and light receiving members 17, 17 rotatable perpendicularly to the axis of rotation are nounted on the frame 1 by means of a shaft 20. A female screw 30 is made to reciprocate in an axial direction by turning a male screw 29 in normal or reverse direction through rotation of a geared motor 35 by the aid of a speed-reducing gear train 32, and directions of the light receiving members 17, 17 are changed by causing reciprocal movement of a connecting bar 18 by the aid of a guide lever 31 and a lever 22. Further, since a driving shaft 23 is turned through pivotal movement of the lever 31, the frame 1 can be turned around the shaft 8 through engagement of a bevel gear 24 on the shaft 23 and bevel gears 9, 10 on a shaft 7.
