PURPOSE:To obtain a remote radiation measuring device of high reliability without the influence of external noise by converting the pulse crest value corresponding to the detected rediation energy value to a light signal and receiving and processing this. CONSTITUTION:The detected output of a radiation detector 1 of a detecting part 100 is converted to the digital pluse crest value corresponding to the radiation energy value by a digital converter 10 for pulse crest value and the digital pulse crest value outputted therefrom is further converted to a light signal by an optical transmitter 11. The light signal is transmitted to a measuring part 101 by means of an optical cable 12 without the influence of external noise. With such constitution, the remote radiation measuring device of high reliability having no influence of external noise is obtained.
