Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide the titled compsn. particularly suitable for automobile engine mount, by blending carbon black and a straight-chain satd. monocarboxylic acid or rosin acid with a rubber contg. a liquid high-molecular material having a specified number-average MW and a specified double bond content.
CONSTITUTION: Not less than 50pt.wt. carbon black and 3W10pts.wt. straight- chain satd. monocarboxylic acid having a 4W19C alkyl group such as stearic acid or rosin acid or a derivative thereof are blended with 100pts.wt. rubber component obtd. by blending 5W40wt% liquid high-molecular material having a number-average MW (Mn) of 500W50,000 and satisfying the formula 10≤ A+B≤1,000 (wherein A=Mn/50 and B is the weight percentage of a double bond unit contained in the main chain of the liquid high-molecular material) such as liquid polybutadiene with 95W60wt% at least one rubber selected from natural rubber, polyisoprene, polybutadiene, a styrene-butadiene copolymer and an isoprene-isobutylene copolymer. The resulting mixture is vulcanized to produce a compsn. having both excellent vibration-proofness and soundproofness.
