Abstract
PURPOSE:To stably bond a sheet to the end face of a wooden base material with good working efficiency and at low cost by adhering a thin single plate previously bonded with a sheet of the same size as that of the flat portion of the end face of a wooden base material onto the flat portion of the wooden base material in such a way that the sheet is bonded with the wooden base material. CONSTITUTION:For example, a sheet 2 for decorative purpose, e.g., vinyl chloride sheet, etc., is bonded with an adhesive 4 onto the flat portion of a rotary lathe thin veneer. Then, the thin single plate 3 is lapped on the end face 1a coated with the adhesive of a wooden base plate 1 aligned toward a fixed direction, e.g., step plate, etc., and then pressed. After the adhesive is hardened, the single plate is cut one by one. The adhesive used includes inexpensive vinyl acetate-bases ones from the standpoint of cost.
