Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable a continuous rolling, by retreating each table roller, forming a conveying table for a rolling line, from a rolling-material conveying-position to the position where a joining machine is not interfered by the table roller during a passing of the machine, and returning the table roller to the original position after the passing of the machine. CONSTITUTION:A preceding rolling material 31 and a successive material 32, both conveyed by a conveying table 12, are joined together by a joining machine 16. At the joining, each lifting cylinder device 24, corresponding to each table roller 13 forming the conveying table 12, operates by a detection of an access of the machine 16 detected by a detector, arranged corresponding to each roller 13, to retreat the table roller 13 to the position where exit side clamps 17 and inlet side ones 18 of the machine 16 are not interfered by the roller 13. When the machine passes through, the detector detects it and gives command to the device 24 to return the table roller 13 to the original rolling-material conveying-position.
