Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the corrosion resistance of a titled device without reducing heat medium temp. as far as possible despite the generation of load fluctuations by installing a heat medium heater 3 between the heat medium pipings after elevating temp. with an untreated gas side gas-gas heater.
CONSTITUTION: An untreated gas is increased of pressure with a waste gas fan 33 through a gas duct 39, and enters an untreated gas side gas-gas heater 1 by passing through a gas duct 10. In the heater 1, the untreated gas heats the heat medium fed by a heat medium pump 5 in a heat transmitting pipe 28, and enters a cooling tower 34 and absorption tower 35 through a gas duct 11, whereby it is made into a treated gas. Thence, the treated gas is further heated with a heat medium heater 3 in a treated gas side gas-gas heater 2, and is heated by the heat medium introduced into a heat transmitting pipe 29 through a heat medium piping 24, then this gas enters a steam gas heater 36 through a gas duct 13, and is further heated by the steam flowing in a heat transmitting pipe 38. The gas is then released into the atmosphere from a stack 37 through a gas duct 41.
