Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable simplifying of a calendar mechanism and facilitate handling of it, by a method wherein a bending elastic arm part is located at a part of a data plate press member and in a center direction of a watch movement, and said data plate is pressed by means of the arm part. CONSTITUTION:A wrist watch with calendar consists of a data plate 1, a data plate press 2 for supporting the data plate 1, an elastic arm part 2a, a hook part 2b for engaging a jig, such as pincettes, in case the elastic arm part 2a is moved, and a calendar plate 3 made of synthetic resin. The data plate press 2 and the calendar plate 3 are coupled monolithically to enable forming of block. Through engagement of the jig such as pincettes with a hook part 2b, formed in the elastic arm part 2a of the data plate press 2, elastic arm part 2a is bent in a center direction of a module, and this causes the data plate 1 to be easily set in the calendar plate 3. This remarkably facilitates handling of the calendar mechanism.
