Abstract

PURPOSE:To automatically exchange a baseboard unit by means of a carry out slider for adsorbing a worked baseboard unit and carrying onto a conveyor and a carry-in slider for pushing the baseboard unit on the conveyor onto an X-Y table. CONSTITUTION:A pallet 15 to be carried by a conveyor 13 is positioning a pin on the under face of a baseboard 5 by means of a groove 14. When an X-Y table for boring the baseboard unit 5 is positioned on a carrier 12, the worked ba seboard unit is adsorbed by an adsorbing pad 22 at the tip of a carry-out slider 20 sliding on the arms 16, 17 and lifted from the X-Y table 6. Thereafter a carry- in slider 19 will advance to mount the baseboard unit 5 on the X-Y table 6 while being guided through the grooves 14, 11. Then the carry-out slider 20 is retreated to mount the worked baseboard unit 5 on the pallet 15.
