Abstract
PURPOSE:To separate laser light from natural radiating light and to enable to perform a simultaneous and independent measurement of said lights, by a method wherein a secondary harmonic generator is situated at a focusing point, and wave length of only laser light is converted. CONSTITUTION:Light, reflected by a beam slitter or a polarizing devide 1, is focused by a focusing lens 2 to form a focus in a secondary harmonic generator 5, a wave length of only laser light, having a high power level, of input lights is converted. Laser light, whose wave length is converted, and amplified natural radiating light are parallel again by a concave lens 6. Beam reflected by a beam splitter 7 passes through a basic wave cutting-off filter 8, and only laser light is measured by a photo detector 3. Meanwhile, beam, transmitting through the beam splitter 7, passes through a secondary harmonic cutting-off filter 9, and amplified natural radiating light is measured by a photo diode 10.
