Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain an outer board of a hull which prevents the electrical corrosion of the basic material and the adhesion of the oceanic lives, by providing an electrically insulative first film between the base material of the outer board of the hull and the second film where the fine powder of copper or copper alloy is existing. CONSTITUTION:An electrically insulative first film 2 is formed on the base material 01' of the outer board of the hull by applying the paint or the adhesives then a mixture of the fine powder of copper or copper alloy and an adhesives is applied on said film 2 to form the second film 3. In such a manner the base material 01' and the second film 3 are electrically insulated to protect the base material 01' from the electrical corrosion. As alkyd paint, chlorinated rubber paint, etc. is employed for the first film 2 while an epoxy type, urethane type product, etc. is employed as the adhesives. The copper in the second film 3 will dissolve into the sea water as the poisonous ion thus to prevent the adhesion of the ocean lives.
