PURPOSE:To make a high-speed processing possible with a small buffer memory capacity, by transferring only required data of unprocessed picture data to the buffer memory of a high-speed processing device. CONSTITUTION:The processing quantity is calculated for unprocessed picture data in an unprocessed picture data storage memory 1, and this data is transferred to a high-speed processing device. The address of an unprocessed picture line segment is calculated and is transferred to an address information storage buffer 16. A data chain control part 17 transfers the unprocessed picture line segment to a buffer memory in accordance with address information through a line 5 and starts the high-speed processing device. The high-speed processing device 6 calculates a processed picture line on a basis of the unprocessed picture line segment in the buffer memory and transfers it to a processed picture data storage memory 2.
