Abstract
PURPOSE:To directly deliver the digital signals having equalized characteristics, by giving a digital process to the input digital signal. CONSTITUTION:The digital signal applied to an input terminal 12 is held at a latch 14. The circuit part enclosed by a dotted line 13 indicates an arithmetic processing part using a cyclic digital filter. The equalization coefficient in read out of a memory 18, and a multiplication is carried out by a multiplier 17. Then the equalization coefficient is applied to an adder/subtractor 22 to be held there. Thereafter, the supplied digital signals are latched and multiplied. A signal processor 29 carries out a rounding process of bit, a protecting process to an overflow, etc. These processes are repeated with the sampling time T of the digital signal defined as a cycle. In such way, a digital equalizing process is attained.
