Abstract

PURPOSE:To electrically suppress the mechanical vibration without causing unstable control system by providing a phase control circuit which advances the phase delay of an armature current control system or a field current control system for the phase of the output signal of a tachometer generator. CONSTITUTION:A speed comparator 2 applies a speed deviation signal to a field function generator 3 and an armature function generator 8. A thyristor amplifier 4 controls the field current of a field circuit 5 in response to the output of the generator 3, and a thyristor amplifier 9 controls the armature current of an armature circuit 10 in response to the output of the generator 8. A DC motor is rotated by an inertia 12 by the difference between the torque produced by the motor and the load torque. The speed 15 of the motor is fed back to the comparator 2 through a phase control circuit 17 having a function for leading the phase by the phase delay of the field or armature control system. In this manner, the mechanical vibration can be suppressed.
