Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve a sense of expansion of sound, by inserting a phase-shifting circuit having a prescribed transfer function, into one terminal of a circuit for supplying a sound signal to the first and second loudspeakers. CONSTITUTION:A sound signal inputted to a terminal 1 is sounded from the first loudspeaker 6 through a phase-shifting circuit 4 and an amplifying circuit 5. A signal inputted to a terminal 10 or a signal inputted to the terminal 1 is sounded from the second loudspeaker 9 through a changeover switch 7 and an amplifier circuit 8. In this case, when a transfer function G(s) of the phase-shifting circuit 4 is prescribed as an expansion (provided that S=jomega, and omega and omega0 denote angular frequency and resonance angular frequency, respectively), it is possible to obtain an expansion of a natural sound which does not generate a sense of 180 deg. out-of-phase.
