Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent deterioration of a picture quality, by back-spacing a readout part by length corresponding to an approach section, after readout has ended. CONSTITUTION:When executing one intermittent subscanning, readout is not executed in the approach section of prescribed length after an advance of a readout part 12 provided with an optical system, etc. has been started, readout is started for the first time after the approach section has ended, and after readout of some section has ended, the readout part is back-spaced by length corresponding to the approach section. In this way, readout is executed after a moving speed of the readout part has become constant, therefore, deterioration of a picture quality is prevented.
