Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a permanent magnet having a plurality of radial magnetic pair, by applying radial magnetic field to magnet powder with a multipole electromagnet, and performing pressing magnetic field orientation of magnet powder. CONSTITUTION:An even number of members which have a magnetic pole projecting inside from a coil 4 are arranged as a magnetic field generator. A ring iron 6 is provided to connect the outer end of magnetic pole 5 on the outer circle. A cylindrical mold die 7 is arranged at the center of magnetic pole 5 in which powder is filled. Magnetic field is generated by the coil 4. The winding direction and electrifying direction of the coil 4 is determined so that the neighboring magnetic pole 5 differs from each other. V-shaped lines of magnetic force are generated between magnetic poles 5a and 5b. Rare-earth magnet powder 1 filling inside the mold die 7 is oriented magnetically in radiating direction along the V-shaped magnetic force H.
