Abstract

PURPOSE:To achieve accurate point sampling, by stopping the sampling operation based on the coincidence between a sample holding voltage and an input signal voltage, omitting a CR time constant circuit and optimizing sampling pulse generating conditions. CONSTITUTION:A sampling forming a charge/discharge circuit to a holding capacitor 26 at sampling in response to a sampling pulse, and a comparator 40 which compares an input signal voltage VIN given to this circuit 24 with a sample holding voltage VH of the capacitor 26 and generates a coincidence signal when the sample holding voltage is within a given range including the input signal voltage, are provided. The coincidence signal of the comparator 40 and a sampling control input VS are given to a sampling pulse generating circuit 38 consisting of T-FF to generate the sampling pulse with the time width from the sampling control input to the coincidence signal input to be inputted to the circuit 24.
