Abstract

PURPOSE:To narrow a revolving range of an excavator, by a method wherein one end of a rotary body is pivotably secured to one side of an upper surface of a vehicle body for an excavator used with excavation of road or the like, a traversing stand, whereto the excavator is secured, is pivotably secured to other end of the rotary body, and the rotary body and traversing stand turn in synchronism with each other through the working of a chain. CONSTITUTION:One end of a rotary body 5 is pivotably secured in a position being eccentric from a vehicle body center in a lateral width of a moving vehicle body 1 on the vehicle body 1, and a traversing stand 6 is pivotably secured above the other end of the rotary body 5. An excavator, such as backhoe, provided with a bucket 14, is secured to the traversing stand 6. A stationary sprocket 18 is secured on the upper surface of the vehicle body 1 and in coincidence with an axial center whereto the rotary body 5 is pivotably secured, meanwhile, a revolving sproket 26 is fastened to the under of the traversing stand 6, the stationary sprocket 18 and revolving sprocket 26 are coupled with a chain 28, and the rotary body 5 and the travering stand 6 are caused to turn in synchronism with and in a reverse turning direction to each other. When the revolving stand 6 is positioned in a maximum eccentric location at one side of the vehicle body 1, a series of the operations causes positioning of the bucket 14 at the other side of the vehicle body 1, which results in preventing the bucket 14 from emerging from the side of the vehicle body 1.
