Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a compact system and reduce the installation cost by eliminating the reguirement of a bypass line of a conventional starting auxiliary oil pump and an auxiliary oil pump of a oil pressure power system. CONSTITUTION:A driving gear 11 direct-coupled with a main rotating shaft, an inverted gear 12 engaged with the driving gear 11, and gears 13, 14, 15 constituting a revolving planet gear system are shown in the diagram. When a starting motor 26 is run while the main system is not in operation, the second sun gear 15 is rotated through a worm gear 17 and a worm wheel 16. The planet gear system is operated with the first sun gear 13 fixed and the planet gear 13 revolving while rotating, and a revolution arm 18 and a revolution shaft 19 are turned to drive a main oil pump 1' through a coupling 20. Accordingly, installation of an auxiliary oil pump or a check valve is not required, thus the whole system is made compact and the installation cost can be reduced remarkably.
