Abstract

PURPOSE:To shorten the processing time by simplifying the extraction processing to process data of Japanese sentences in a high speed, by storing character strigns, of which extraction is unnecessary, in an unnecessary word file and by eliminating unnecessary words in sentences while referring to this file to extract a key word. CONSTITUTION:Sentence data received by a data buffer IBUF is read out by a general word sending means GSL and is divided by punctuation marks of the sentence and is written into a working data buffer WBUF. The means GSL reads contents of general key word file GFL for character strings of each sentence in the buffer WBUF and erases general key words existing in this file GFL from contents of the buffer WBUF. Next, words registered in an unnecessary word file NFL are erased from each sentence, where general key words in the buffer WBUF are dropped out, by a key word extracting means KSL, and the rest key word output is inputted to an output buffer OBUF. Thus, the extraction processing of key words is simplified to process data of Japanese sentences in a high speed.
