PURPOSE: To eliminate a change of sealing performance in a device and always obtain its quality of good sealing, by providing a heating sensor and temperature sensor in the vicinity of a sealing member and holding the sealing member at optimum temperature.
CONSTITUTION: A heating device 8 of spiral Nichrome wire or the like is annularly arranged around a lower seal 6 and held by two divided semi-circular arc-shaped retainer plates 9. Two lead wires are drawn out from both end parts of said heating device 8 to the outside of an engine and connected to a battery 11 through a switch 10. Further a temperature sensor 12, located in the vicinity of the lower seal 6 to reach the outside of a main unit 1 of the engine, is provided, simultaneously a control device 13, opening or closing the switch 10 by said temperature sensor 12, is provided, when temperature of the engine in the vicinity of the lower seal 6 is not lower than previously determined temperature, the switch 10 is opened, when lower than said determined temperature, the switch 10 is closed.
