Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce a vibration of a rotary electric machine by integrating a coil conductor with a slot armour with varnish in a slot and interposing a fit spacer in the axial gap of a coil end, thereby eliminating the gap. CONSTITUTION:When a multi-stage coil conductor 7 is inserted into a slot 8 via a slot armour 11, varnish 15 is filled in the gap between the armour 11 and the conductor 7 to integrate the armour and the conductor to eliminate the gap. A fit spacer 17 is interposed in the axial gap of the conductor 7 at the coil end out of the slot. This spacer 17 is formed by winding a resin-impregnated feltlike material at the periphery of a hard insulating piece, and is mounted in the gap of the conductor and cured. In this manner, the gap in the slot can be eliminated to reduce the vibration due to the thermal imbalance.
