Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable a proper opening degree by a method wherein a control circuit to control driving motor is arranged so that a plural pieces of guide vanes to adjust quantity of water and a driving motor by which a water turbine may be driven under the specified load.
CONSTITUTION: A driving motor 36a is arranged on each of a plural pieces of guide vanes 3a to adjust quantity of water to be provided to a water mill (not shown) through the intermediary of gears 34a, 35a to control opening degree of the guide vane 3a. Further, a control circuit (not shown) to control the driving motor 36a so that the water turbine may be operated under the specified load, and the driving motor 36a is slowly driven at the time of controling the opening degree of the guide vane 3a, then at the time of occurrence of accident, the driving motor 36a is rapidly driven to close the guide vane 3a. Thus an adequate operation can be carried out in a simple constitution without employing any hydraulic pressure.
