Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve sealing efficiency between a front end of an expansion boot and a tie rod by supressing expansion of the front end of the expansion boot covering the tie rod transmitting reactive force from a master cylinder to a car body.
CONSTITUTION: The front end of tie rod 14 is fixed with spring plate 20 supporting return spring 9 of booster piston 2 and spring plate 20 is made to shape hollow tapered surface 20a. Fixing cylindrical portion 26c at the front end of expansion boot 26 covering tie rod 14 is closely engaged with fixing goove 14c of tie rod 14, and a front external circumferential surface of expansion boot 26 is made to shape convex tapered surface 26c. Convex tapered surface 26c is suppressed by hollow tapered surface 20a which is facing to convex tapered surface 20c.
