Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain the correct control of air-fuel ratio without any delay of time by increasing fuel by means of a fuel control valve when an air control valve is operated to decrease the air flowing in a bypass passage.
CONSTITUTION: A hot wire type flow meter 6 is arranged in a bypass passage 5 provided in a Venturi tube 4, and its signal is sent to a computer 8 and compared with a fixed set value. When the value of the signal is smaller than the set value, the computer 8 issues a signal to increase the amount of air flowing in the bypass passage 5 to an electromagnetic valve 14. On the contrary, when the value of the signal is greater than the set value, the computer 8 issues a signal to decrease the amount of air flowing in the bypass passage 5 to the electromagnetic valve 14. In this construction, at the time of a great air flow, the electromagnetic valve 14 is operated to close a valve 15 for reducing the air flowing in the bypass passage 5, and in accordance with this operation, a valve 16 is operated to increase fuel for supplying to a nozzle 6.
