Abstract
PURPOSE:To detect a position of the tip of a wire material for winding of the toroidal core optically and positively, and to improve the reliability of the mechanization of the winding of the toroidal core by previously fusing the tip of the wire material by a reducing flame. CONSTITUTION:The wire material 6 for the winding is fused by the reducing flame, the wire material being fused is transported to the position of a core hole 2 of the toroidal core 1, the location of the tip 7 of the wire is detected optically, the positions of the core hole and the tip of the wire are corrected, and the tip 7 of the wire is inserted into the core hole 2 and wound. When the tip 7 of the wire 6 is finished in a glossy rounded shape, the reflected light of both illumination irradiating the tip 7 through an illuminating lamp 200, a condenser 201 and a half mirror 202 and illumination through an illuminating lamp 203 and a condenser 204 is caught by means of a mirror TV camera 103, and the position of the tip 7 of the wire 6 can be detected positively.
