Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent a seizure at the end surface of the rotor by a method wherein a high pressure oil separated from a discharged gas is communicated with a suction chamber through a seal ring at a front sliding surface via a rear sliding surface of the rotor and the rotor is pushed against the front side under a utilization of the discharging pressure.
CONSTITUTION: During an operation of the compressor, a high pressure oil in the oil reservoir is flowed through an oil feeding port 26, a closed space 25 and fed to the radial bearing 13 and at the same time lubricates a rear sliding surface of the rotor 14 and a sliding surface of the vane 16 and finally reaches to the front side sliding surface. A part of the oil is leaked from the seal ring 29 to the suction chamber 5 and lubricates the sliding surface of the rotor 14 located inside of the ring 29 and also the radial bearing 13. To the outer circumference surface of the rotor 14 with the ring 29 being interfaced therewith is applied a discharging pressure Pd, and to the inner circumference part thereof is applied a suction pressure Ps, and thus a position of the ring 29 is adjusted in such a manner as overall frontward acted force acting on the rotor 14 is slightly higher than an overall rearward acted force.
