Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve the throwing property and to attain uniform coloring by electrolyzing anodically oxidized Al or Al alloy in an electrolytic bath contg. Ni salt and/or Co salt using Ni and/or Co contg. a prescribed amount of S as an opposite electrode.
CONSTITUTION: An electrolytic cell is filled with an electrolytic bath contg. Ni salt and/or Co salt, and an Ni and/or Co electrode contg. S dispersed uniformly in both the metals by 0.003W0.1wt% is set in the cell. An electric current is supplied between anodically oxidized Al or Al alloy and said electrode for a fixed time. Thus, not only the side of the Al or Al alloy facing to the opposite electrode but its opposite side is uniformly colored fine.
