Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide the titled high strength steel plate suitable for use as a material for a car wheel disk, etc., contg. a prescribed percentage each of C, Si, Mn and S, and having a structure consisting of a prescribed areal percentage each of ferrite, bainite and martensite.
CONSTITUTION: This high strength steel plate contains 0.02W0.15% C, 0.85W1.8% Si, 0.3W1.2% Mn and ≤0.015% S while satisfying Si%/Mn%≥1, and it has a 3-phase structure consisting of 5W70% by area of bainite, 1W30% by area of martensite and the balance ferrite. This steel plate is provided with only the advantages of ferrite+martensite steel and bainite steel, so it has a low yield ratio, superior strength-elongation balance, a superior stretch flanging property and superior fatigue strength.
