Abstract

PURPOSE:To avoid distance limit for a diver, by the communication of ultrasonic waves between the diver and a relay device and electromagnetic waves between the relay device and a person on land through the provision of the relay device on water. CONSTITUTION:A diver 4 can communicate with a transceiver of a relay device 1 with an ultrasonic wave transceiver 5. The relay device 1 receives this communication and it is propagated in electromagnetic waves from an antenna 3. A person on land 7 can receive the electromagnetic waves with a transceiver 8 and can know the contents of communication. As to the communication from the person on land to the diver 4, it is done by the reverse path.
