Abstract

PURPOSE:To achieve demodulation without deteriorating the characteristics even for a signal near a carrier wave, by holding an amplitude value of the carrier wave with a sampling pulse in synchronizing with the carrier wave and picking up an original signal. CONSTITUTION:An amplitude-modulated signal 1 is applied to a sample holding circuit 7, sampled and held with a sampling pulse 10 generated at a sampling pulse 6 and a demodulated signal 8 is outputted. The sampling pulse 10 is synchronized with a carrier wave 5 and the carrier wave is excluded in the demodulated signal, allowing to eliminate the need for a low-pass filter.
