Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a circuit which is not influenced by a variation of picture plane width or deflection frequency, by designating an address in which a correcting data is stored, in accordance with a digital value which has been obtained by converting the voltage correlated to horizontal and vertical deflection currents. CONSTITUTION:Voltage being in proportion to a horizontal or vertical deflection current is induced from resistances which have been connected in series to a deflection coil, or a pickup transformer, and is inputted to a terminals 1 and 5. A/D converters 11, 12 convert the voltage being in proportion to horizontal and vertical deflection currents, to a digital value, respectively, and supply it to an ROM6 as horizontal and vertical address signals. Accordingly, since an address corresponding to a position of an electronic beam is designated, the ROM6 reads out a correcting data which has been stored in advance in its address, changes it to analog by a D/A converter 7, and gives it to a current amplifier 8. A correcting magnetic field is generated by providing an output of the amplifier 8 to a convergence coil 9. In this way, a correcting data is read out exactly, and a convergence correction having a high accuracy is excuted.
