Abstract

PURPOSE: To make available hot water at the predetermined temperature at all times by providing a hot water volume controller which can automatically change the volume of hot water in accordance with a supply capacity.
CONSTITUTION: A valve 12 controlled by a motor 19 for driving the hot water volume control valve is provided between a water admission port 10 and a venturi tube 13 of a hot water volume controller 1 installed at the entrance of a water system. Input ends (a), (b) of a motor driving circuit 27 used to forward and reverse rotation, and stop the motor 19 each are designed to receive the output of a comaprator 23 for detecting the fact that a gas proportional control valve 8 has been fully opened and a comparator 24 for detecting the fact that the hot water temperature has reached the set value. When the water volume increases, making it impossible to keep constant with the valve 8 the hot water temperature determined by a notch or volume, and when the hot water temperature is lowered, the circuit 27 operates to turn the motor 19 in the forward direction to operate the valve 12 in the shutting direction because the output of the comparator 24 changes. Consequently, the water volume required is returned in order to maintain the hot water temperature at the predetermined value.
