Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve an operation control in a sewage treating plant by disposing a dissolved-oxygen concn. meter and a suspended-solids densitometer near at a sewage-inlet of an aerating tank and detecting a pattern-alternation of measured data obtaining through said meters.
CONSTITUTION: A sewage flows into an aerating tank 1 through an inlet 1a of the tank and flows like a line 2, and is treated by dint of an activated sludge while it is flowing, then, it slows out through an outlet 1b of the tank. At a proper position in a vessel, which is near at the inlet part for the sewage-inflow, that is the 1st vessel or the 2nd vessel, disposing a dissolved-oxigen concn. meter (DO meter) 3 and a suspended-solid densitometer (MLSS meter) 4, the measurement of the dissolved-oxigen concn. and the suspended-solid density is performed by the meters 3, 4. Whereby, finding an alternation on a pattern of the data obtained by said measurements, an arrival of the rain water into the tank 1 is detected.
